A New York man is taking arms against a psychic, claiming she never gave him a statue that was supposed to ward off negative spirits.
All told, businessman Charles Silveira handed upwards of $1,000,000 to self-acclaimed psychic Ava Miller.
Silveira filed a lawsuit in New Jersey Superior Court that seeks to recover these funds. In addition to the $250,000 he paid for the promised golden statue, he also made several large cash payments to Miller after meeting her online.
The suit also seeks to have Miller removed from a $700,000 home Silveira bought for the psychic advisor last year.
