Need some ideas for perks that employees will love?
Perks and benefits are likely the most important things to your employees. After all, a recent survey showed that 95% of Americans consider perks and benefits before taking on a job. A higher salary alone won’t cut it.
Forbes recently highlighted 25 companies that are offering some really great perks for their employees – perks so good that they may never want to leave! We’ve picked out a handful of our favorites below.
Don’t just work – play
Red Ventures’ headquarters houses a full-length indoor basketball court, gym, locker rooms and putting green. Employees are encouraged to take a break and enjoy all the facilities. The Charlotte Bobcats practice on the court in the off-season, too.
Drive the CEO’s car
InDemand Interpreting’s CEO awards an employee who gave an extraordinary performance with a “Box Lunch.” This is different than what you’re thinking. The selected staff member is given the keys to the CEO’s Porsche Boxster to drive to a company-paid lunch. This shows his employees that he trusts them — even with his prized Porsche.
Bring your dog to work
The Nerdery’s employees can bring their dogs to work and the company will arrange for a mobile groomer for any shaggy pups. Each Thursday, the “Nerditorium” is opened for what they call “Puppy Fight Club,” where the dogs can go unleashed and play with other dogs.
