Faster payments, e-mail scams, bitcoin (?): What’s coming for A/P
Know what developments are coming down the pike for accounts payable people in 2016?
There’s a good chance you’ll see some new tech-related issues, according to the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP).
In 2016, the AFP expects to see developments in:
- faster payments
- business email compromises (BEC) scams, and
- bitcoin (an electronic currency).
While bitcoin isn’t likely in your immediate future, keep pushing for faster payments, and stay wary of suspicious emails.
