Strange lawsuits: Sexual harrassment via dumplings
If we had a nickel for every sexual harassment lawsuit we’ve read about like this … we’d have exactly five cents.
Chin Chin Chinese Restaurant is a popular eatery that has landed a number of A-list patrons such as Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey. But recently the dining hotspot has found itself fighting downright bizarre claims of sexual harassment.
Bartender Yvonna Diaz filed the suit, claiming that waitstaff would hold “penis-shaped” dumplings between their legs and then go ahead and serve those same dumplings to customers.
But that’s not all. Diaz also claims that staff would come up to her holding oranges up to their chests and saying, “Nay nays; Nay nays is very good.”
The owner of the Chin Chin Chinese Restaurant claims Diaz’s claims are frivolous.
