Federal agent's reponse to accusation: 'I'm going to kill you all!'
Who hasn’t had dealings with the feds that involved death threats, the U.S. Department of the Treasury and a trifecta of loaded weapons?
Here’s what happened.
IRS agent Albert Bront was under investigation by the feds for filing false tax returns. When officials from the U. S. Department of Treasury went to Mr. Bront’s home to serve him with a warrant, the accused IRS agent had other ideas.
Before officials could serve Bront with the warrant, he allegedly screamed at them, “I’m going to kill you all!” and tried to rush back into his home.
The feds acted quickly — one agent drew a gun on Bront and the other pulled out a baton — and arrested the IRS madman.
It’s a good thing they did.
Inside Bront’s home, the agents found three loaded weapons including:
- a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol complete with 115 rounds of ammunition, and
- a pair of .357 caliber revolvers.
Right now, Mr. Bront is behind bars — but not for tax fraud. So far, the 49-year-old California native has yet to be charged for filing false tax returns.
