Watch out for this IRS deposit due date: Jan. 6
If you’re a semiweekly tax depositor according to the IRS, you may need to make two separate deposits on Jan. 6, 2016. Â
The following payroll dates occur in different quarters:
- Dec. 30, 2015 (Wednesday) and Dec. 31, 2015 (Thursday) occur in the fourth quarter, and
- Jan. 1, 2016 (Friday) falls in the first quarter.
